How to Win Top 10 Categories:

The winners will be announced at the annual Pineapple awards show, which occurs in January of every calendar year. Winners will be determined by their placement in the Top Ten (10) of each of the categories below. All files to be included must have been closed and paid between January 1 and December 31.

How to Win Top Three Brokerages:

The winner will be announced at the annual Pineapple awards show in January every calendar year. Winners will be determined by their placement in the Top Three (3) brokerages for funded mortgage volumes amongst all affiliate brokerages part of Pineapple Group. All files to be included must be considered closed and paid between January 1 – December 31. (One prize per brokerage)

How to Win Top Team:

The winner will be announced at the annual Pineapple awards show in January every calendar year. A team is defined as a group of agents (2 or more) pooling mortgage volume under one team leader. Winners will be determined by their placement in the top one (1) team for funded mortgage volumes amongst all other teams. All files to be included must be considered closed and paid between January 1 – December 31. (One prize per team)

Engaged Capital Award - The Process:
The Engaged Capital Award is based on a random draw of qualifying ballots earned by members. To qualify for each award, members must achieve a minimum of 3 funded files in a calendar year. Each funded transaction over the minimum will be allocated one qualifying ballot for the prize draw. The prize draw will be held at the Pineapple Annual Awards Show. All files to be included must be considered closed and paid between January 1 – December 31. (3 funded deals get one ballot, and each additional funded deal gets an additional ballot).

An additional way to enter the Engaged Capital prize draw is to earn $500,000 of investor referral money in a live deal. 

Lender Awards - The Process:

Lender awards are based on a random draw of qualifying ballots earned by members. To qualify for each award, members must achieve a minimum of 10 funded files in a calendar year. Each funded transaction over the minimum will be allocated one qualifying ballot for the prize draw. The prize draw will be held at the Pineapple Annual Awards Show. All files to be included must be considered closed and paid between January 1 – December 31. (3 funded deals get 1 ballot, and each additional funded deal gets an additional ballot)

Wild Card Awards:

The Wild Card awards are based on a random draw of qualifying ballots earned by members. To qualify for each award, please see the details below. Some exceptions apply. The prize draw will be held live at the Pineapple Annual Awards Show.

Pineapple Training Award

1. 1 ballot awarded for each deal closed using the Doc Genius in PineappleONE. *Please note that your deal must be closed and paid before December 31st to earn a ballot.
2. 1 ballot for using the Google appointment scheduler: Please note this must be updated in your Pineapple Core account under the MySite section within the field "Calendar Link."
3. 1 ballot for attending each PineappleONE training session: This will be prorated for any previous PineappleONE sessions that have been held and will apply to all future PineappleONE sessions upon launch. *Rules & Stipulations apply - refer to the section below*

Rules & Stipulations:

1. If you reside within 70km of head office, ballots are only earned if you attend in-person.
2. If you reside more than 70km from the head office, cameras must be on for the entire call duration.
3. Ballots will only be rewarded for attending the full duration of the session. Leaving early will result in no ballot earned.
4. If you leave throughout or show up late, you will not receive a ballot. (There is a 15-minute grace period at the start of any training)

Pineapple Underwriting Award

3 funded deals get 1 ballot, Each additional funded deal gets an additional ballot. All files to be included must be considered closed and paid between January 1 – December 31.

NEW: Community Service Award

This award will go to the individual who has made a lasting and meaningful contribution to their community. We will look at the length of their community service and the extent to which their service is above and beyond the call of duty. This will be awarded at the discretion of the leadership team at Pineapple Financial Inc.

NEW: Brand Ambassador Award

This award will go to the individual who makes the biggest impact in their community or centre of influence by supporting the Pineapple brand and will be awarded at the discretion of the leadership team at Pineapple Financial Inc.

NEW: Rookie of the Year Award

This award will recognize and distinguish one mortgage agent who has shown outstanding performance in the past year. To be eligible to win this award, agents must meet the following criteria:

1. Entered the mortgage industry in the last 24 months
2. Currently enrolled in or successfully completed the Pineapple Counsellors Program
3. Earned the most points based on units, volume, revenue, and leads entered into MyPineapple
4. Be in good standing with Pineapple Financial Inc.

The Pineapple Group Horizons+ Trip 2024 Rules & Regulations:

We recognize the many contributions our mortgage professionals make to the reputation and overall success of our organization. The Pineapple Group Award Trip “herein referred to as Horizons+” not only acknowledges many of the best mortgage professionals in the industry it rewards the elite and the fortunate with a memorable all-expenses-paid vacation for two with your peers and business partners.

The Prize:

The winner in each category will receive an all-expenses paid trip for them and a guest to a resort destination. Each guest must be at least 18 years of age unless approved. The date of the trip and location will be selected by Pineapple.

Eligibility:

Trip winners must be a member in good standing of the Pineapple Group and of the sponsor at the time of the trip. Members may win only one trip per calendar year.

Trip winners must have proper travel documents within 30 days of departure. At this time, all travel forms are to be completed and submitted. If they do not have their documents in order at least 30 days prior to departure, the trip will be awarded to another person.

Prize Terms:

The winner cannot reassign or transfer their trip to another broker or another year. A voucher will not be issued in place of a trip.

The Performance trip winners (top 10, top brokerages, & special award winners) will be removed from lender draws.

If a lender partner draw winner is no longer with the network, the lender partner will select a new winner.

Please note: The 2023 Rules and Regulations end on December 31, 2023. New Rules and regulations has been updated for 2024.

Travel Documents:

All travel documents must be submitted 30 days prior to departure or the trip will be awarded to another person. Pineapplers who are not Canadian citizens should contact their local consulate. Landed Immigrants to Canada must have a Permanent Resident Card to re-enter Canada.

Travel & Security:

Transport Canada has implemented strengthened security measures with regard to passengers, carry-on luggage and electronic devices.

Effective immediately, screening officers may ask travellers to present electronics for screening and request that some devices, including cell phones, are powered on. Powerless or broken devices will not be permitted onboard the aircraft. For this reason, please ensure that any electronic devices that you will be taking on the plane are fully powered before you arrive at the airport.

Travellers and their carry-on luggage may also undergo additional screening.

These new measures may cause delays, we recommend that you arrive well in advance of departure to allow for check-in, baggage drop-off, security screening and boarding. You should arrive at your gate well in advance since some screening may also be performed at the gate.
