How to Win Top Three Brokerages
The winner will be announced at the annual Pineapple awards show happening in January of every calendar year. Winners will be determined by their placement in the Top Three (3) brokerages for funded mortgage volumes amongst all affiliate brokerages part of Pineapple Group. All files to be included must be considered closed and paid between January 1 – December 31. (One prize per brokerage)
How to Win Top Team
The winner will be announced at the annual Pineapple awards show happening in January of every calendar year. A team is defined as a group of agents (2 or more) pooling mortgage volume under one team leader. Winners will be determined by their placement in the top one (1) team for funded mortgage volumes amongst all other teams. All files to be included must be considered closed and paid between January 1 – December 31. (One prize per team)
Lender Awards
The Process:
Lender awards are based on a random draw of qualifying ballots earned by members. To qualify for each award, members must achieve a minimum of 10 funded files in a calendar year. Each funded transaction over the minimum will be allocated one qualifying ballot for the prize draw. The prize draw will be held at the Pineapple Annual Awards Show. All files to be included must be considered closed and paid between January 1 – December 31.

The Pineapple Group Horizons+ Trip 2022 Rules & Regulations:
We recognize the many contributions our mortgage professionals make to the reputation and overall success of our organization. The Pineapple Group Award Trip “herein referred to as Horizons+” not only acknowledges many of the best mortgage professionals in the industry it rewards the elite and the fortunate with a memorable all-expenses-paid vacation for two with your peers and business partners.
The Prize:
The winner in each category will receive an all-expenses paid trip for them and a guest to a resort destination. Each guest must be at least 18 years of age unless approved. The date of the trip and location will be selected by Pineapple.
Eligibility:
Trip winners must be a member in good standing of the Pineapple Group and that of the sponsor at the time of the trip. Members may win only one trip per calendar year.
Prize Terms:
The winner cannot reassign or transfer their trip to another broker or another year. A voucher will not be issued in place of a trip.
The Performance trip winners (top 10, top brokerages, & special award winners) will be removed from lender draws.
If a lender partner draw winner is no longer with the network, the lender partner will select a new winner.
Travel Documents:
Foreign nationals visiting or entering Aruba are required to have a valid passport from their country. A visitor to Aruba shall be permitted entry as long as his/her passport is valid for the duration of the stay in Aruba and he/she has proof of a confirmed onward journey. Pineapplers who are not Canadian citizens should contact their local consulate. Landed Immigrants to Canada must have a Permanent Resident Card to re-enter Canada.
Travel & Security:
Transport Canada has implemented strengthened security measures with regard to passengers, carry-on luggage and electronic devices.
Effective immediately, screening officers may ask travellers to present electronics for screening and request that some devices, including cell phones, are powered on. Powerless or broken devices will not be permitted onboard the aircraft. For this reason, please ensure that any electronic devices that you will be taking on the plane are fully powered before you arrive at the airport.
Travellers and their carry-on luggage may also undergo additional screening.
These new measures may cause delays, we recommend that you arrive well in advance of departure to allow for check-in, baggage drop-off, security screening and boarding. It’s recommended you arrive at your gate well in advance since some screening may be performed at the gate as well.
Time Zone:
Aruba observes Atlantic Standard Time all year; this is similar to Eastern Time. However, Aruba does no daylight-saving time clock changes.
Climate:
Aruba has a tropical Caribbean climate that boasts lots of sun and daily temperatures ranging from 26°C to 32°C year round.
Currency:
The currency of Aruba is the Florin. It is linked to the US Dollar and the exchange rate can be checked here. US currency is widely accepted on the island.
Electricity:
Aruba uses the same electrical current as America/Canada 110 Volts, 60Hz.
