This week’s Sales & Marketing and Deals & Underwriting Training are heavily focused on the importance of lead and client management. Sales and Marketing will take you through the steps to properly segment your database. Thursday’s deals and underwriting will go into more detail about the reason why leads and client management is so important for your business to be successful.
We strongly encourage all agents and brokers to come out to head office for these sessions as this will allow more hands on support to ensure your database is properly set up to drive success in your business.

Pineapple Juice – How does it work?
Pineapple Juice creates customized learning journeys for our agents through “trails”. Within each “trail”, the content is broken down into “modules” and then again into bite-sized “units”. For example, the “MyPineapple” trail has a “Leads” module and a “Lead Types and Stages” unit.
But that’s not all! The more you use the system, the more points you will earn that can be redeemed for rewards – stay tuned for more information!

On Friday, June 3rd the training team launched the final module in the Pineapple Essentials Trail: Pineapple Essentials in review!
Are you becoming more confident with the systems, strategies and tools offered at Pineapple? With these skills and knowledge, you are definitely on the right track in building your business plan. In this final module, we have created a mortgage terminology reference list to support your daily practice and learning as a mortgage broker that you can refer back to at any time throughout your career. We will also review what we have learned in this trail from lead generation, Pineapple’s smart systems to foundational underwriting knowledge. Upon gaining all the badges for this trail, you are fully equipped with the solid core mortgage skillset to step up to the next level for the PMAQ training program and to advance your career.
This is Part 3 of the Employment & Income Documents module that was previously launched. In addition to the already knowledgeable content you have in this module, we have added new units that focus on employment and income documents for BFS (Business for Self) clients including sole proprietorship, partnership, incorporation, and rental income. For each type of documentation, we’ll review the requirements for validity, the best practices for obtaining them and when to submit these documents. By the end of this module, you’ll be able to prepare employment and income documentation for the deal you’re working on for any income type you may come across!
Having a holistic understanding of your client’s mortgage profile will help you determine which type of deal your clients will qualify for. In this module, we will learn A & B deal types, examine the qualifications for each type, and review a case study together. By the end of this module, you will be able to assess a mortgage application and classify the deal based on your client’s mortgage profile.
