Pineapple Core Training

Due to the long weekend, we will be closed on Monday May 23rd and will be back in the office on Tuesday May 24th. Kindly note that all cases and emails from the Training Department will be addressed on Tuesday.

On Wednesday May 25th we have our phenomenal Regional Sales Manager, Leighton Watson in the office to hold our Sales & Marketing Training from 10:00am-11:00am EST.
If you would like the opportunity of meeting Leighton and chatting with him following the presentation, this is a phenomenal opportunity! We look forward to seeing you all then.

Pineapple Juice – How does it work?

Pineapple Juice creates customized learning journeys for our agents through “trails”. Within each “trail”, the content is broken down into “modules” and then again into bite-sized “units”. For example, the “MyPineapple” trail has a “Leads” module and a “Lead Types and Stages” unit.

But that’s not all! The more you use the system, the more points you will earn that can be redeemed for rewards – stay tuned for more information!

Check out the latest trails and modules below – click the images or headers to start learning now!

Underwriting Fundamentals: A&B Deals

Having a holistic understanding of your client’s mortgage profile will help you determine which type of deal your clients will qualify for. In this module, we will learn A & B deal types, examine the qualifications for each type, and review a case study together. By the end of this module, you will be able to assess a mortgage application and classify the deal based on your client’s mortgage profile.

Underwriting Fundamentals:  Employment & Income Documents (Part 2)

Last week, we released part 1 of documentation for employment & income. In this module, we’ll explore documentation part 2 covering confirmation of down payment, agreement of purchase & sale and other miscellaneous documentation. For each type of document, we’ll review the requirements for validity, the best practices for obtaining them and when to submit them. By the end of this module, you’ll be able to prepare documentation for the deal you’re working on for compliance and lenders’ guidelines.

Underwriting Fundamentals: Document Collection (Part 1)

This module is going to be released in 2 parts. In this release, we’ll explore documentation for employment & income including job letters, pay stubs, T4s and T4-As. For each type of documentation, we’ll review the requirements for validity, the best practices for obtaining them and when to submit these documents. Part two of this release will be coming out next week so stay tuned for more valuable information on document collection!
