Hello, Pineapplers! We are constantly taking note of all the hard work and time that you, as agents, have dedicated to your success. Please don’t forget to take the time to complete any Pineapple Juice trails and modules for a chance to win the learning and development team wild card prize for an all-expense paid trip for you and a guest of your choice. One lucky agent will win a trip to the beautiful island of Aruba. To earn ballots and eligibility for potentially winning this fantastic prize, we encourage you to get caught up on any Pineapple Juice training that you may not have had time to complete. The process of how to win:

1 ballot for every 5,000 Pineapple Juice points earned. Take your time to complete quizzes to the best of your ability. The more answers you get correct, the higher your chances of obtaining more ballots.  

All variety of learning available: products (from tools to self-development) (1 ballot for each product). In Pineapple Juice, we segment our understanding by-products, referred to as learning categories. Each category is defined by the trail/ module badges you see. Please note: Multiple trails can fall under the same type of learning. Trails can also earn you more than 1 ballot. You will gain a ballot for each category, NOT each trail completed. For example, Pineapple Essentials has development Sales & Marketing badges so that you can make 2 ballots with this trail.

Introduction to Scarlett

Recently, we released our third module in our Compliance in Ontario trail. This module is titled “Introduction to Scarlett” and covers the tools and features Scarlett offers us regarding Compliance and Payroll purposed. We will learn how to login to the system, how to search for a deal and how we can best utilize our TRS views once files have been submitted. 

Staying Compliant in Ontario

We released the second module in our Compliance in Ontario trail. This module is titled “Staying compliant in Ontario” and covers the Ontario audit process and reviewing the required documentation for various mortgage types, including purchase, refinance, switch/ transfer, renewal, and private mortgages. We also end the module with a unit encompassing compliance tips and common compliance mistakes to help you avoid the same mistakes.

Pineapple Juice in Review

In this final “Pineapple Juice” module, we recap all of the information that we learned throughout the entirety of this trail. You will also notice a quiz at the end to assess your knowledge and determine what you have taken out of it to use Pineapple Juice functionality to the fullest!

Compliance in Ontario

We launched a brand new trail in Pineapple Juice titled “Compliance in Ontario” Compliance is a mandatory component of running a business as a mortgage professional, and as always, Pineapple is here to support you in understanding the requirements to succeed. Check out our first module, “Introduction to Compliance,” to understand what compliance is and an overview of what’s to come throughout our newest trail in the upcoming weeks and months

Tuesday, November 15th: 10:00 – 11:00 am EST: Lender and Vendor Partner Sessions: Bridgewater Bank: Rose Pallotto – (In-person) – Join us live at head office to hear our Pineapple Lender Partner, Rose Pallotto, discuss Bridgewater Banks products, guidelines and how their solutions can help you and your clients close more deals. 

This session is tailored for agents of all levels of experience, from brand new to the industry, to our more seasoned mortgage agents, to determine what products are available for your clients.

If possible, we encourage you to come to head office for this training to build a stronger relationship with Rose Pallotto.

Wednesday, November 16th: 10:00 – 11:00 am EST: Sales and Marketing activities: Sales Q&A: Leighton Watson – (In-person) – Join us live at head office to hear our Regional Sales Manager, Leighton Watson, go over any end of the year Q&A you, as our dedicated mortgage agents and brokers may have. Leighton will provide advice, tips and answers to any sales-related questions. As a Salesperson, take this opportunity to learn from Leighton himself and feel free to share your information with your peers. 

We are always here to provide you with the utmost supportive training and resources you are seeking, so join us on Wednesday to expand your knowledge and take the opportunity to openly ask any questions or bring up any challenges you are facing in sales to get an expert opinion.

Thursday, November 17th: 10:00 – 11:00 am EST: Deals & Underwriting Training: Rental Worksheets Case Study: Veena Puvirajah – (In-person) – Join us live at head office with one of our Pineapple Underwriters, Veena Puvirajah. She will hold a case study and teach us about rental offsets. Veena will provide a client scenario as an example and walk us through how we can assess our client’s situation and determine the correct lender product suitable to their situation. She will also teach us how to fill out a rental offset form and then how to input this into our PineappleDOS account. 

Remember to join us live at head office so you can meet Veena and get the opportunity to ask her questions live and in person. 

Friday, November 18th: 10:00 – 11:00 am EST: Market Update: Shubha Dasgupta – (In-person) – Join us at head office, where our CEO Shubha Dasgupta will be holding a live session sharing all of his wise words of wisdom. If you are looking for market predictions for the quarter or talking points to discuss with your clients, you will want to tune in. Shubha will provide us with a rate update and an industry update, discussing the critical information over the previous month. 

This is a fantastic session for all agents of all levels of experience, from brand new to the industry to our more seasoned mortgage agents. Join this session to learn more!
