Around 450 million people currently struggle with mental illness, making it the leading cause of disability worldwide. One in two Canadians have—or have had—a mental illness by the time they reach 40 years of age. 

On Monday, September 19, 2022, from 3 – 4 PM EST our CEO Shubha Dasgupta will be holding a session at our head office on Mental Health and why it is crucial in today’s society. Shubha will raise awareness of common mental health challenges and how to be aware and cognizant of these challenges. In relation to that, he will also be providing some coping mechanisms for them!

The overall wellness of how someone thinks and behaves is essential and we want to make sure you are properly supported. We encourage everyone to come in for this session as it will be highly beneficial to you and your business as mental health affects all of us, one way or another.

Remember, “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always.”

Monday, September 19: 3:00 – 4:00 PM EST: Mental Health Seminar- Shubha Dasgupta (In-person) – Join us at 3 PM on Monday for a very informative session with our CEO Shubha Dasgupta here at the head office. Shubha will be discussing why mental health matters in today’s society. Shubha will also explain some common mental health challenges and how to be aware and cognizant of these challenges. In relation to that, some coping mechanisms for mental health will also be shared. 

The overall wellness of how one thinks to regulate feelings and behaviour is essential. We encourage everyone to come in for this session.

Tuesday, September 20: 10:00 – 11:00 AM EST: Lender and Vendor Partner Sessions: Strive Capital- Chris Woodhouse (In-person) – Join us live at the office for this week’s Lendor and Vendor session, where we have Chris Woodhouse from Strive Capital. Chris will give a quick recap of the products Strive offers. In addition, he will share details on their product sheets, and other general guidelines that Strive adheres to.    

This is a fantastic session for agents of all levels of experience from brand new to the industry, to our more seasoned mortgage agents. If possible we encourage you to come to head office for this training.

Tuesday, September 20: 12:30 – 1:00 PM EST: MyPineapple Training: Rhys Musso (In-person) – In this MyPineapple session, our Training Coordinator Rhys Musso will be live at head office to discuss Cases. Agents will learn how to use this internal support ticketing system. Rhys will focus on how to create cases and the importance of using this support system.

Wednesday, September 21: 10:00 – 11:00 AM: Sales & Marketing Activities: Social Responsibility – Shubha Dasgupta (In-person) – This week’s Sales and Marketing session will be live at our head office, where our CEO Shubha Dasgupta, will be discussing what social responsibility is, and its importance. He will also explain what Social Responsibility means to you and your business. This will be a fantastic session for all our agents and we encourage you to come in person if possible. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Wednesday, September 21: 10:00 – 11:00 AM: Pineapple Underwriting Training: How Underwriting can Help your Business (Virtual) – Join this monthly 30-minute training session to learn how our amazing Pineapple Underwriting team can benefit you and your business. Take this opportunity to ask your Underwriting questions live. This session is hosted by our VP of Service and Operations, Emerson Munsayac!

Thursday, September 15: 10:00 – 11:00 AM: Deals & Underwriting Training: Ratios: How They Are Impacted: Jaime Sylvester (In-person) – In this Deals and Underwriting training session, our Pineapple Counsellor, Jamie Sylvester, will be discussing Ratios and how they are affected. He will highlight the most important aspect when calculating ratios: GDS/TDS. The specific details needed for mortgage agents to discuss with each client and questions to ask in order to get clients to better understand GDS/TDS ratio will also be discussed.  

This is a fantastic session for our beginner-level agents. Join us if you are seeking more information on ways to help your client.    

Friday, September 23: 10:00- 11:00 AM EST: Market Update (In-person) – Shubha Dasgupta – Live at the head office, our CEO Shubha Dasgupta will be sharing with us his wise words of wisdom. Are you looking for predictions for this quarter? Are you looking for talking points to discuss with your clients? Shubha will provide us with a rate update as well as an industry update with the important information that has occurred over the previous month.

Activity Tab

Learn about how to plan your daily business activities using the Activity Tab in MyPineapple for leads and deals. Sending Emails & Email Automation

Learn how MyPineapple automates our email routine to generate more opportunities for us.
