Pineapple Juice is our very own online training platform that reinvents learning and enablement at Pineapple. Stay up-to-date on this month’s training schedule, recordings, and upcoming training!

 Get learning today Pineapplers! As mentioned last week the Learning and Development team will award one lucky agent with a trip to the beautiful island of Aruba. To have a chance of winning this fantastic prize, we encourage agents to get caught up on Pineapple Juice training. Don’t forget; this could be you!

The process on how to win:

1 ballot for every 5,000 Pineapple Juice points earned. Take your time to complete quizzes to the best of your ability. The more answers you get correct, the higher your chances to obtain more ballots.  

All variety of learning available: products (from tools to self-development) (1 ballot for each product). In Pineapple Juice, we segment our learning by-products, referred to as learning categories. Each category is defined by the trail/ module badges you see. Please note: Multiple trails can fall under the same category of learning. Trails can also earn you more than 1 ballot. You will earn a ballot for each category, NOT each trail completed. For example, Pineapple Essentials has development badges and Sales & Marketing badges so that you can earn 2 ballots with this trail.

Tuesday, September 27: 10:00 – 11:00 am EST: Lender and Vendor Partner Sessions: 

MCAP – (In-person) – Join us live at the office for this week’s Lender and Vendor session, where we have Trish, Nicole and Linda from MCAP. In this session, the team will quickly introduce their BDM and BRMs. Information will also be shared about submission efficiency and policy tips. With changes always happening within the industry, recent policy changes along with transfer details will be discussed.  

This is a fantastic session for agents of all levels of experience, from brand new to the industry, to our more seasoned mortgage agents. If possible, we encourage you to come to head office for this training.

Wednesday, September 28: 10:00 – 11:00 am EST: Sales & Marketing Activities: D.I.S.C Training Part 1 – Leighton Watson (In-person) 

Join us at the head office for this week’s Sales and Marketing session. This will be Part 1 of our 2 – part D.I.S.C training, with our Regional Sales Manager Leighton Watson. Leighton will explain the acronym D.I.S.C and how important this is for mortgage agents. He will present some key characteristics to look out for when identifying D.I.S.C personality types. We encourage agents to come into the office if possible. 

Wednesday, September 28: 1:00 – 2:00 pm EST: Compliance and Payroll: Rebecca Engelberg and Daisy Mistry (Virtual) 

Join us online for our monthly Compliance and Payroll Training, where you will learn about the Pineapple compliance process from our compliance officer Diana Jendrasch. Yuki You, our Director of Operations will also discuss the Pineapple payroll process. This is a great opportunity to ask questions live!

Thursday, September 29: 10:00 – 11:00 pm EST: Deals & Underwriting Training: Porting and Blending Mortgages when Buying: Marlon Yee (In-person) – Join us live at head office on Thursday for our Deals and Underwriting training which will be done by our Pineapple Counselor, Marlon Yee. In this session, Marlon will cover what porting and blending are when making a purchase. He will explain different porting options and some advantages of porting. He will further explain why porting may not be viable, along with why it is relevant in today’s market. A real-life numerical scenario will be shown, along with tips on how to manage clients’ expectations. 

Friday, September 30: 10:00- 11:00 am EST: Market Update (In-person) – Shubha Dasgupta – Live at the head office, our CEO Shubha Dasgupta will be sharing with us his wise words of wisdom. Are you looking for predictions for this quarter? Are you looking for talking points to discuss with your clients? Shubha will provide us with a rate update as well as an industry update with the vital information that has occurred over the previous month.

Pineapple Juice in MyPineapple

Did you know you can access Pineapple Juice training from your MyPineapple dashboard?! In this module, we’ll learn how to access Pineapple Juice training from your MyPineapple account. This will provide you with the update-to-date module releases and the option to complete your learning in MyPineapple. In this module, we will also learn about features such as updating your MyPineapple and Pineapple Juice profile images with one easy step. Take some time to learn how to use Pineapple Juice to help you stay on top of your game in potentially winning the upcoming trip to Saint Lucia!

MyPineapple App

Learn about how to start managing client relationships on the go with the brand new MyPineapple mobile app, which is up and running for all Android and IOS devices. This unit will show you how to download the MyPineapple mobile app on our smartphones running on Android or IOS platforms. Follow this unit to start downloading, Pineapplers!

Activity Tab

Learn about how to plan your daily business activities using the Activity Tab in MyPineapple for leads and deals. This module will show you four types of activities the Activity Tab can help you to plan and keep track of all the communication in your sales pipeline. There are five units in this module that go through elements of the Activity Tab; how to log a call; how to add a new event; how to add a new task; how to send an email. Sending Emails & Email Automation

Learn how MyPineapple automates our email routine to generate more opportunities for us. This module will teach you different options for sending emails in MyPineapple and show you various automated communications based on the lead type and stages. There are seven units in this module which go through automated timely & relevant communications; Engagement Journeys; how to send mass emails or individual emails; how to create an email signature, and how to use existing email templates. What is your current system when sending emails? Start learning to perfect your email tasks management routine.
