In this session, our CEO, Shubha Dasgupta, takes us through the weekly Market Update. He kicks off the meeting with Prime Lenders and Alt Lenders rate updates.
Rate hikes will impact borrowing power but remember: people will always need to buy and sell homes. Investors will always be looking for discount opportunities. It doesn’t matter if prices are $1M or $750K, people still need a house and a mortgage, they still need us.
As rates rise and borrowing power reaches the max for many, we discussed that banks will become more cautious in their approach. Buyers are fatigued right now, and many buyers who lost multiple bids or could not find a suitable property have now decided to sit out on the sidelines until more listings are available or the prices have dropped.
Did you know that the pandemic has left Canadians richer but saddled with more debt? Shubha ends the call by answering agent questions!

You have until March 31, 2022, to complete the Online CE course through CMBA, MPC or REMIC to renew your license. But remember, you need to send us your certificate of completion and we need to submit your renewal application before the March 31st deadline. If your renewal application is not submitted by the March 31st deadline, your licence will expire. So please do so now if you have not yet completed the course.
Frequently Asked Questions
Who has to renew? Everyone. We now are required to renew our license EVERY year.

What happens if Pineapple has sent in my renewal application before March 31 but I have not heard back from FSRA? If your brokerage submits your renewal application by the March 31st deadline, you may continue to conduct business until FSRA makes a decision about your renewal.
STEPS TO RENEW YOUR LICENSE:
